Silat Performance(4 hours)

My Expectations
I choose to participate because I love to showcase my skills to others so others would be interested to join and hope that my group would grow.
I started around a year ago.I watched a performance.The sparring sessions was really awesome.I was attracted by the way they fought.
I hope to learn how to take care of myself and family members with any skills i learn from this.

Highlights & Challenges
I enjoyed the training sessions every friday nights.I always finish at 1 am.Its a paya lebar area.So I would usually slack before going home.
I do encounter some challenges.Learning this martial art, i need to be strong in my religion.So there are times when I feel really lazy wanting to pray.That's a challenge for me.haha!
I overcome them by really forcing myself to pray and turn myself into a polite and good person.I have to have lots of patience.

My Reflections
What mattered most is not if im winning in every performance.But to me, becoming a better person is more important.
I have some personal experiences that has really tested my patience, and also through these experiences,I have felt God's Love.
I don't know if i have change into a better person.but I tink i am.haha!

Cousin's marriage(8 hours)

My Expectations
I participated in this event because its one of my close cousin's marriage.He is 27 years old.I always buy clothing with him.Our family would also go on vacations together.
I only want the marriage to function well.It does cost alot.so it should go on as planned.

Highlights & Challenges
I really enjoyed taking part in preparing for the celebration.To prepare the seats and tables.It was tiring but..I got $650.huhu!
Challenges.erm, I did faced a problem like insufficient workers to help serve people.but luckily,my other cousins came and save the day.So overall it did worked out as planned.Everyone went home happily full!
haha!

My Reflections
The event going well is the most important.and that my cousin and his wife being happy too.And they are!they seem to smile all the way.
Life lessons?erm..i guessed that would be..If U want get married.make sure the wedding is grand.so buy any grand organizer to plan it all out.It will be worth it.but just make sure u have enough money left.haha.
